A. Hafeez Muhammad serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the development program entitled, “Center For Self Improvement (CFSI).” CFSI has been serving the community since 1993.
CFSI began under Mayor David Dinkin’s administration through the Drug Elimination Program within the New York City Housing Authority. CFSI teaches hundreds of young adolescents from middle school to college.
A. Hafeez Muhammad is a graduate of George Westinghouse Vocational and Technical High School in Brooklyn. He also attended New York City Technical College for two years studying Electrical Engineering Technology.
He possesses the natural ability to inspire, motivate and encourage diverse audiences to their true potential. His experience comes from over twenty-four years in ministerial teaching and administration, twenty-two years of marriage, and ten years working in Corporate America responsible for many departments under his direction and supervision. As the saying goes, “Experience is the best teacher.”
Today CFSI's continues to teach development programs in schools, Not-for-Profit Services agencies for youth, as well as, principals, CEO's and their staffs.
A. Hafeez Muhammad has taught in programs such as: Harlem Children's Zone Promise Academy, New York Public Library, Freedom Academy High School, Brooklyn Collegiate High School for Urban Scholars, Science Skills High School, and York College Educational Program to name a few.
A. Hafeez Muhammad produced and hosted a weekly acclaimed radio program entitled, "The Power Hour with Minister Abdul Hafeez" from 2004-2009. It served as a community affairs issues and programs format with special emphasis on healthy relationships monthly. he is considered by many as an experienced relationship expert.
